PASACAT DANCE PROGRAMS
PASACAT Dance programs have been designed for the serious study of Philippine Folk Dance and History. Classes ensures proper technique and strength are gained at the same rate as the difficulty. All dance programs prepare for a minimum of 2 productions a year: Junior Concert in the Summer, and Parol Festival in the Winter. Dancers may also perform at public or private events upon invitation.
Sayaw at Laro (Ages 4-7)
Learn motor, cognitive, and social skills. Foster musical awareness and self-awareness. develop imagination and creative expression. A positive environment for learning elementary positions and movement of Philippine folk dance.
SAYAW PAMBATA (Ages 7-8)
Foundation laid for correct posture, balance, stamina, rhythm, and mindset. Provides social encounters where cooperation and empathy are learned. Teaches visualization skills and focus. Builds a healthy self-esteem.
Sayaw II (Ages 13-20)
Prepares students for the option of pursuing professional dance as a career. Promotes healthy life long habits that increase positive mood and healthy body image. Enhances emotional maturity and respect. Instills collaboration, accountability, time management, grit, and critical thinking skills needed for a successful career.
Sayaw I (Ages 8-12)
Improves range of motion, physical health, and cardiovascular health. Develops a sense of commitment, follow through, and the ability to accept constructive criticism. Builds self-confidence and pride in their work.
Company dancers
Exemplify discipline and commitment. Opportunity to train with world renowned industry leaders and participate in multiple productions including private and official events, and abroad performances. Company dancers provide the highest caliber and integrity of training and performance opportunities.
Bayani at diwata (Ages 21+)
Prepares students for the option of becoming a Company Dancer. Promotes healthy life long habits that increase positive mood and healthy body image. Enhances emotional, maturity and respect. Instills collaboration, accountability, time management, grit, and critical thinking skills needed for everyday life.
